Description of property:
A rustic stone quinta with a large area of terraced land set in a secluded and picturesque valley.
The house, built in 1936, is set on the side of the valley. The house is constructed of traditional xisto stone, with chestnut woodwork, and looks out across the valley, set with pine and arbutus trees, to the surrounding hills. There is also a ruin on the property.
The land has 3 large terraces, connected by flights of stone steps. This land was used for growing maize until the 1960’s, when olive and fruit trees were set, and is potentially highly productive.
A small stream runs along the bottom of the valley, and there are 2 wells and a spring on the property supplying water for irrigation.
Access to the property is by footpath only, but with permission of the local Câmara it would be possible to construct a track.
