The main house has been carefully restored preserving the traditional features of the building. The work has been carried out in a rustic style.
The ground floor of the main house comprises: an adega with wine barrels, a stone table, stone walls, electricity and water, and a washbasin; a large office with a door to the patio; a bedroom with window; a storage room with a stone floor; a tiled room with WC, shower, 2 sinks, a gas hob and a fridge; a laundry room with tiled floor and washing machine; a sitting room with a stone floor and an old oven part-converted into a fireplace, and a tiled area with electric under-floor heating; wooden stair to the 1st floor.
The 1st floor comprises: a fully–fitted kitchen in pine, with blue and white azulejo tiles on the walls, marble work surfaces, washing machine, double sink, gas hob, water heater, microwave oven, electric oven, fridge, breakfast bar, a window overlooking the garden, store cupboard, tiled floor and sloping wood ceiling. A French door opens on to a large tiled veranda with a wooden surround, enjoying open views to the hills.
On the 1st floor there is also a spacious tiled bathroom with bath and shower, bathroom furniture in wood, and a wood ceiling; the main living room has a wood ceiling with exposed beams, wooden floor and a wood-burning stove, and a door to a small balcony with wood-store, and the external stair; 2 bedrooms with wood ceilings, one with fitted shelves.
The second restored house is a small cottage which would provide excellent guest accommodation, and has been fully restored with a large open-plan room on the 1st floor with a kitchen at one end. Below this room there is a small shower-room. There is also a workshop which has its own access separate to the main accommodation.
The ground floors are insulated in both houses, the ceilings are insulated, and all the windows are double glazed. There is air conditioning in both houses.
Outside there is a patio area of raised xisto stone, and an annex with a working bread oven.
With the property comes a large piece of land, mainly defined as 3 broad terraces. The terraces are bordered by a number of old olive trees and vines. There are also several different fruit trees, including peach and fig trees. Around the house there is a broad expanse of gravel providing parking for several vehicles, as well as good access to the first and second buildings. On the lowest terrace nearest to the property is an above-ground swimming pool, which takes advantage of its secluded location.
